Etsy-what is it?

I have been asked "what is Etsy"?  Etsy is a community of artists and folks with an appreciation for all things handmade.  Vintage is a large category, check out the start of my shop here http://www.etsy.com/shop/VogelHausVintage?ref=pr_shop.  It's a great place to find unique items generally not found in a retail store.
